The zip tie part that’s next to the ac compressor- what is it. The second photo is what the part/parts are supposed to look like.

On my 84 I removed it and it didn't set the check engine light on. Try unplugging it and see.

The ECM doesn't know about what the AIR system is doing so no feedback.
