Default about the HSR.

IS the Holley Stealth ram with holley fuelrail ( if you dont count in the hood issue ) a direct bolt on setup? Both base and plenum? Is all the vaccume / coolings stuff there?
Or do you need to tweak the HSR to make it fit a L98 block?

You need a smaller distributor for sure. Or ( I am not positive) a remote coil.

I was looking into the HSR and I was told it won't fit under the hood

You are correct. It will not fit under the C4 hood without one of.....

a) Cutting the hood and raising it a little.
b) Cutting the plenum therefore altering the interior volume and overall design of the plenum.

you definately need the small distributor with the remote coil. the cheapest way is to source the parts from a camaro or firebird. I believe all it takes is to swap two wires in the connector. I have seen aftermarket replacement distributors (only one or two manufactures) that run a few hundred dollars.

someone on the forum posted this link, http://www.rancefi.com/
he's got a similar manifold (FI tunnel ram) for $255. I emailed him and he promptly responded, saying he will make it any height needed, and it accepts all the standard (stock) sensors and throttle body. It also requires the small distributor.

grumpy on the forum is also talking with a machinest to supply custom HSR that fit under C4 hoods. we are all eagerly waiting for his post :D

I believe the HSR does not have provision for EGR
