Default What makes one Throttle Body better than another ?

I'm building a Gen ll SBC using a Lingenfelter Accel Super Ram. I have two 58mm Throttle Bodies one is a NOS Accel new in the box and the other one is a Lingenfelter. There both CNC Machined and yes I see some diffrences between the two. I have always herd that the BBK is one of the better ones. So what makes one better than another ? If there all 58mm its not like one is going to flow much more than another.

Perhaps the details make the difference. I used a summit racing throttle body on my lt1 as I found in my research it was made by BBK. Externally they are exactly the same, and as I was trying to tune idle I learnt so were their internal flaws. Long story short BBK used the same throttle body housing they used for the l98 motors. If you look where the tbody meets the intake on a oe lt1 t body the passage for the idle circuit is flat where it meets the intake. The BBK isn't and the hole for the idle circuit isn't drilled requiring modification as it's an l98 t body housing. I'm curious if the other t body's have the same issue.

Absolutely correct, I went through this on my LT4 with the BBK. I made it work properly but I would not recommend BBK throttle bodies for the LTx engines.
