High consumption problem - 12 mpg
I have C4 1994 LT1 engine with manual transmission. Mileage 190k. Mostly stock, with cold air intake (forced air), custom headers and blocked EGR.
The car was sitting long time before I bought it. Now it is in quite good condition, only vacuum lines are worn and have significant leaks. No codes or lights. Idle slightly fluctuates when cold.
This weekend I made a 300 miles trip (city and highway). The trip was fine, but average fuel consumption was very poor - 12 mpg (even I was driving smoothly). Highway consumtion was 15 MPG.
Do you have any idea what could be wrong?
