Default Smog & AC Removal

Recently bought a 1987 Vette motor and I am wanting to do a little bit performance mods with it and the first things that came to mind was that I could remove the AC and Smog pump. With the bit of research I have done and have seen that I need them still for other things to work properly (like the water pump) and not have any interference issues with the power steering either.

I also don't know if I would have to get different mounting hardware to put the alternator and power steering in a different spot or if I could just use the stock mounts and move them. In general it would be nice to get some info about what I could do or what others have done to get this to what I want it to be.

I believe TPIS sells parts for both smog and AC deletes!
You won't net much power, but it does clean up the engine bay, reduce weight of the car, and maybe frees up a tiny bit of power. Tiny bit.

The TPIS parts for smog and AC delete will retain factory function and location of all the other stuff not deleted like alternator and water pump. They are a sweet company and me quality stuff! Check em out.

I deleted my smog pump as well!
