Hi, I just got a 1992 c4 corvette, I know that the 93 and up had keyless entry and i was wondering if it was possible to add this to my 92?
NOT PKE (Proximity Keyless Entry) as was standard for '93+ but you could add RKE 'After-Market' - RKE (Remote Keyless Entry). Many vendors and good, better and better yet options. You DO NOT WANT REMOTE START!!!
I installed a cheap eBay keyless in my '90. Installed it in the driver's door. Locks/unlocks the doors and pops the hatch from a considerable distance. Everything you need to connect exists in the door and there's plenty of room to mount the module.

A bought a basic Avital keyless entry kit to install on my 1990. Do you happen to have a write-up or a drawing of the wires you tapped into? If you wire it up just inside the door, will the interior lights come on when you unlock the door with the remote? Did you set yours up to flash the parking lights when you lock the doors with the remote?

Sorry, I don't have a diagram. It does not flash the lights or turn on the interior lights. The module just needs to momentarily ground the door and hatch switches. It seems you could turn on the interior lights by also grounding the door open switch which would start the timer.
I am in the same situation trying to install a cheap keyless in my 1990.
I have some questions you might be able to answer:
1) I was told to splice together the orange, orange/black and black wires as a negative and yellow ,yellow/black and red as a positive.
2) Did you have to disconnect the power lock switches to prevent it from blowing the fuses?
3) How did you wire the alarm arm/disarm wires?
