I am sure there is pages and pages about the system on my car. The car has 84,500 miles . At 62 to 70 miles an hour I have the passenger front tire creating a shake in the car which transfers to the steering wheel. Tires are new with 2,000 miles on them. On the display panel I got the warning about the selective shock control. I know because of money everyone abandoned those shocks and puts on normal shocks. My question is which shocks do you consider the best choice as I just enjoy driving the car on weekends. I’m looking for comfort more than someone who is going to race the car. Thoughts???

Putting aside the FX3 for a moment, probably the best options for ride quality are Koni Sports or Ridetech HQs. Both are single-adjustable and have appropriately low compression damping rates, and you adjust the rebound. Set toward their softer ranges, both will give you very nice ride quality, and you always have the option to stiffen them up for more spirited driving. The Ridetechs have an advantage in being much easier to change the rear damper settings. You also might be able to talk to them and get a set with a slightly softer damping range than their off-the-shelf unit (a few years ago they were willing to make a set with stiffer adjustments for my competition-oriented car).

There are threads around here on what you need to do to trick the FX3 system into thinking you still have the stock dampers plugged in.
