Here's another idea, take off the air inlet snorkel near the throttle body .
Put a little gas in a oil or squirt can and while its on a fast idle, squirter some gas in the throttle body . If the engine speeds up , you have a lean condition . If the additional gas makes the engine slow down , your air fuel ratio is good and fuel is sneaking in somewhere
Also make sure the throttle plate is closed by visual observation
