Sudden engine shutdown
Hello, I have a problem with my 86 convertible. Engine shuts off while driving.
Car with cold engine always starts without any problem. After a few minutes (2-5 min) of driving, the engine shuts off for no reason and cannot be started again. All electrical stuff like dashboard, lights ect. works, the starter cranks but the engine does not start. After approximately 3 minutes of waiting engine starts easily and works again next few minutes until it suddenly shuts off. This repeats 2-3 times and than it runs without any problem for a any time - I tried one hour. When engine gets cold problem repeats again.
I tried to change ditributor and fuel pump with no effect at all.
Does anyone have any idea what it could be? I will be grateful for any advice. Thank you

I haven't been able to do that yet, I tried leaving the car started in the workshop, but the engine ran fine. The fault always happens while driving and I was not able to disassemble and examine something on the side of the road.
