Default Manual swap

I’m in the middle of swapping my 1994 auto corvette to a zf6. I was just wondering what I would need to change on the electrical side. I have the torquehead 24x kit so my pcm is already taken care of but, what connector if any do I need to change/ install.

Reverse switch wiring, clutch pedal and associated wiring (i.e. start interrupt), VSS... the only two electrical things on the trans are the reverse switch and VSS that you care about (can just leave the skip shift solenoid unhooked). Not sure all you need to undo on the auto end (i.e. park switch). Also, there are things like with the wiring of the hatch switch which may be different (in other words to protect you from opening the hatch at speed).

Hopefully someone else can kick in who has experience with this...

Assuming you are swapping to a D44 and have a manual car c-beam?

I have the c beam but don’t have a Dana 44 currently, would I still be able to use the 36 in the car for a short period of time?

Again I’m not a swapper…hopefully someone who really knows their stuff can speak to this…

but I believe the issues with the D36 will be:
- gear ratio is bad for a zf6
- you will need a custom c beam(?)
- you will need a custom driveshaft(?)
- it is weaker
