Ok guys, Stroker time again! The old L98 broke its flexplate, we removed the engine and decided to stroke it!
The Super Ram / AFR 195 Combo got a fresh set of 36lb fuel injectors from Fuel Injector Connection to replace the old 24's.-
Is there a proven part number that you guys can recommend and I can buy right away?
I want to play safe and buy a good kit but I cannot afford to keep waiting and waiting for a distant shipping date.

Hey Sammy! Long time, no hear. Sorry you ran into a problem -- but it sounds like you'll be even happier!!! I can't help because I did a mish-mash of parts (vs a complete kit). However, it's a good idea to let everyone know more about your heads. Are they still 65cc chambers? From the kit you listed, we can infer you're looking to build a 383 -- though you might want to consider a 396 too. (I probably would if I did another engine).
18cc seems a bit large for 65cc heads....That's why I wonder if you cut them down. (Sorry I don't remember). I'm running 20cc because I cut mine to 56cc chamber while originally planning not to stroke it. Without doing the math, I'm thinking 5-10cc is where you'd want the pistons to be! Maybe it's good that kit is on backorder!?1?
Seems you're running a MR (IIRC). Is your application totally street use?
Hey Gregg. Cool to be around and read you again!
Yes, the heads are untouched AFR 1040's with 65ccs; yes my plan is 383, and Super Ram is still there; it will be street driven, no more racing for me.
Thank you!
Sammy

Quick look through Summit reveals ALL Eagle stroker kits on prolonged backorder. Have you tried contacting SCAT (or one of their retailers) to see what they have to offer? I've been running one of their 9000 series cranks since 2010. I went with them (back then) because those cranks are slightly stronger than the entry level Eagle stuff. If you had the money and wanted to keep the car forever, an all-forged kit is worth considering too.
I couldn't remember w/o looking at your profile. Looks like you have an 87 SBC Gen1 with 1pc RMS.
I have no idea of prices these days...though the Eagle stuff didn't scare me! LOL You might convey a budget too.
Yes, SCAT is an option as well, and yes I have a 1987 L98 1PC RMS
I'm still deciding so I want to see the best options I can find and adjust the budget to the options.
I just built a 383 from a Vortec Truck Block 4 bolt main. Actually, it's a standard bore so it's a 377. I used CNC Motorsports to get my Kit. I had to Bidon my time and wait 3 months. Scat Cast Crank with Scat Rods and Icon Pistons. My Machinist told me not to use any of the Balanced Kits and have somebody local do it. I was a little surprised they had to add a little heavy metal to balance it. AFR 195 and a Super Ram. Just a proven combination for a C4. Originally, I was going to do my first LS conversion, but I decided I'd rather mess with Cranks and Rods and Heads instead of Wiring and ECM codes. Not to mention I have had a Super Ram itch for 30 years.
