Default Unhooking battery for vacation.

Hello, I have a 95 Vette and am curious if the battery can be disconnected for 3 months without causing problems with the computer?

if you don't unhook your battery you might need a new one after 3 months sitting. Depends how much drain your car normally has, which is a typical C4 problem.
The only thing battery disconnection affects is the block learning mode, which is a short term tuning thing.
As soon as you go driving down the road (after warming up the car) for 15 minutes or more the BLM will back at it again.
The worst thing to contend with is re-tuning the radio channels.

Its a choice, risk the battery or put up with a short time tuning re learn when you drive the car again.

Have you thought about a battery tender? Using one will keep the battery fully charged.

Grab a deltran battery tender. You can get a super small one and keep it plugged in all the time. I am using one from my Harley and it is a nice slow trickle till it gets fully charged.

I also use a quick disconnect. It is a **** that unscrews. Kinda a pain to reset radio stations but it does work

Another vote for a battery tender. Only takes 10 seconds to connect and the battery stays fully charged and never overcharged. Dan

I use battery tenders on all my vehicles, including my C4. I live in MI, so we have 3-4 vehicles that hibernate for the winter. They sit on battery tenders, I have never had any issues with this setup.

how stupid am I answering a Noob first question !
"if I disconnect my battery for 3 months will it harm my computer ?"
short answer - No ! Source; 35 years of people disconnecting their batteries on C4's with no ill effects on the computer.
Then you want to take me to task for suggesting leaving the car for 3 months might run the battery down ?
Again my source; 5,437,698 posts entitled "my C4 battery keeps going flat when I leave it for a while !!!"
If the OP wanted advice in relation to a battery tender then they should have just said that.
