As I have posted in the past I am doing a sound proofing , Carpet and a new stereo.
when I had the interior gutted I saw all the wires going back to the passenger bucket well where the Bose used to live. So I thought that I could eliminate a bunch of wire that was for the Bose system. I traced all wires from the plug ends that was not used anymore and snipped them off put crimp wire caps on.
I am now to the point of installing the new carpet and I wanted to make sure that the back up camera was installed correctly and to check the software version. I wired the plug exactly as the prior Sony was. When I turned on the ignition to acc. I have have no power. Now one thing to point out is that none of the existing wire harnesses is connected to anything.
I wanted to wait until the carpet was in to do the final attachment. I hope it is something simple lol.
