Had Billy Boat 2.5 cat back system installed recently on my 95 6spd, knew to expect some drone more than I expected. Have installed lot's of soundproofing inside rear deck floor and surrounding areas. It's ok with open windows , closed of course another matter, 5th gear low speed worst rarely use 6th.
Plug one outlet on each muffler. Use a plumbing expanding rubber "test-plug". Evaluate the results.
Absolutely a real source of drone. I put a set of reproduction mufflers on my car, the one difference from stock being dual working outlets. The drone was horrendous for such an otherwise quiet exhaust.

Any ideas?
quieter mufflers.
you can try putting a resonator in place of the rear cat, that might work, but quieter mufflers are the only way to reliably eliminate exhaust drone.
I have also found that if the car sounds awesome from the outside it generally drones in the inside.
Go to the local hardware store. Buy a pair of galvanized plumbers pipe plugs.to match the interior of the B@B pipe outlet. Install the plugs in the two INNER exhaust outlets. This should stop the drone. Also, stay away from an X pipe. The exhaust noise will drive your neighbors nuts.
Bought as set for my C6....at the time ('07 ish?) they were the hands down, #1 recommended muff on the 'Vette forums. They DID eliminate drone, while allowing more sound than the stock mufflers. However the sound was "eh", the fit and finish on the mufflers was fair (later got GHL mufflers and they were much better built...and sounded better too). The Corsa's were heavy and finally, they co$t as retarded amount of money for ANY muffler, least of all on that is "eh, eh, eh."

I agree the cost is out of line… but I’m happy with it, for me the sound is better than eh with no drone, but it’s a c4 vs c6 AND this is one of the most subjective subjects… so fair points
I've had a B&B 3" on my LT4 since 2002. It drones. I thought the 2.5" was supposed to be better, but I'm not surprised it's not. I really love the looks of the B&B, but I definitely have contemplated something different over the years. I knew about plugging the inside outlets and may go do that, thanks @RVY for the suggestion on what to use. There is the new Fusion systems. which are way cool, but $$$!
I have the 3" BB on my LT1 I found that putting a restrictor in the outside pair of muffler outlets got rid of the drone. The restrictor reduced the outlet size by 50%
Don't know your exhaust configuration so I don't know if that's an option but, 12 inch long, 2.5" glass packs solved drone problems on two other cars without restricting exhaust much. BTW, my favorite restaurant around Raleigh, NC is Casa Carbone.

Installed plugs last night difference is dramatic, fine for my style of driving.
