Ignition Interference From Radio Tower

Default Ignition Interference From Radio Tower
Heys Guys,

There is a radio tower along the Baltimore Beltway that interferes with my ignition every time I pass by.
My '86 will stumble for about 5 seconds and the CES will light up and stay on until I restart but never stores a code. I've changed out the cap, coil, rotor, plugs/plug wires and ignition module. Still the same. Plug wires are routed and dressed per FSM and no issues with my car audio.
I do try to avoid that stretch of the beltway, but it just drives me nuts!
Any suggestions?

I had an acquaintance that had a transmission tower of some sort set off the LTPWS on his '90 nearly every time he passed by.

OP - have you tried to ID what the tower actually is?

Do you have the aluminum plate over the distributor? Just curious.

If it's a tower of considerable height I'd think it rather easy to ID and move forward then.
