The stud sizes are different for the rockers, right? Any problems with this or anything else?
(repeat: not the LT4 conversion heads for the LT1)

You'll need an LT4 intake as well, I do not think the LT1 intake fits properly. Other than that it's an easy swap.

Looking at a pace catalog, they are identical except for the rocker studs.

I believe you will also need a new fuel rail (expensive to buy new). Easier and cheaper to go with ported LT1 heads or AFRs.

From http://home.tir.com/~steveher/lt4.html

The engine's higher rpm also exceeded the LT1's fuel injector's ability to keep up, so the LT4 got a new fuel rail with 3.5 gram per second (28lbs/hr) injectors, replacing the 3.0 gram (24lbs/hr) injectors of the LT1. Revised fuel-injection system featuring a new fuel rail designed to keep pace with the better breathing, higher revving engine.

I have a 95 so I think they are the same, but not the injectors. I could just increase the size of the injectors, but not a must.
