This hole is in the lower a pillar at the door hinge. 3 prong connector is for door switch i believe. I do i connect it. Dont see how from inside of car.
Door jam switch, what year is the car because they were fazed out at one point.

If you open the door and see the door jam switch (on the a pillar), pull the plunger out and it will click, this will allow you to take a socket to the nut and remove it....pull the switch out of the frame from behind (inside the car) and plug it into the wires...put switch back in, install nut, then either just close the door to reset the plunger, or push it back in...the plunger pulling out is what keeps the wires from spinning when you remove the nut...
The OP has the connector appearing at the opening that should be used for the 'conduit' to the doors. It shouldn't be there. The connector is accessible inside the car through the kick-panel access. The OP needs to remove the switch, reach into kick-panel access route the connector through the switch mounting hole as suggested. I image it could be easy so long as the connector is in sight to slip a 'fishing wire' through the switch hole and use it to 'fish' the connector through the mounting hole in the pillar. There's very good images in all year FSM '89 or earlier I'd think.
