I swapped out rims on my 94 Vette that has the low tire pressure warning system. I did not take the bands off each wheel and move them to the new wheels.
After a few hundred miles the Service LTPWS light of course came on. I know I can take the dash apart and take the bulb out, but hoping to find another way. I also know I can remove the cruise control fuse but would rather not do that either. I tried disconnecting the battery as well but the warning persists.
Is there a scan tool out there that will clear the Service LTPWS warning?
You don't need a scan tool. But with no wheel sensors, the warning is just going to keep coming back. You said "a few hundred miles". It's usually every time the car is driven more than a few miles. There is no way to 'disable' the LTPWS through a scan tool. You outlined the possible methods to disable the warning.
With key in RUN ground terminal 6 (ECM / LTPWS diagnostic enable) to terminal 5 (ground) until LTPWS begins to flash Code 12. Remove then touch, term 6 to ground 3 times in 10 seconds. The sign of "success" is that both LOW TIRE and SVC LTPWS lights come on then go off.
Correct I am just looking to clear the warning. This isn't my daily driver so it might have been 100 or so miles. It was certainly many small trips before the warning light came on. If I can get a repeat of fhat and clearing it works that would satisfy me until I pull the bulbs.

If you know there's 'air' in the tires you're going to let those lights 'bother' you for short/occasional drives? A static cling very dark filter would likely service you better!
***** A friend would suggest probably a 'tape job'!!

Correct. I'd prefer the lights to not be on and I'm not going to even attempt to figure out how to attach the bands to my new wheels.I left the factory wheels and tires mounted and they will stay that way.
