1985 drivers side head question
Ok the wire its in a little cylinder thats on a bracket with 2 grounds bolted on the back of the driver side cylinder head does that have to be attached like that or can i ziptie it out of the way? I had to cut the bracket holding the wire in 2 to get the bolt out. Im changing my head gaskets.

I'm trying to think of what you are talking about. It "sounds" like you are talking about the tach filter wire. If so, that doesn't have to be mounted to the bracket. The grounds do need to be mounted back to the head though. The only other thing I can think of that is a little cylinder is the advance wire for the distributor. Mine just hangs under the wiper motor, so if that is it (a brown wire) then it can hang too.
