Default Clunk when I roll it backward by hand.

Good morning, 87 coupe
I needed a foot or 2 to get my hood to clear in the garage, as I pushed it backward by hand it had a recurring clunk, I am guessing from the rear end area. It does not do it going forward. No sensation of clunking under power in reverse. I should also mention the last owner either had a lot of rear camber in it or the fasteners slipped, maybe as much as 2°. This camber will be removed soon.
Any ideas appreciated.
Donny

First thing I'd look at is the U-joints, if you replace, you must get Spicer.

Speaking of off the ground (thanks Carter I will try that), just before the rythmic clunk, I had each corner individually off the ground installing shocks. The car had not settled back into it's stance and maybe the acute angle after jacking contributed to it. It is no longer there but I do get some minor noises driving (shift points) . That is the thing about this car, it is 35 y/o and I don't know the "thats just a c4" from "thats not right". The tranny shifts fine, but I sometimes wonder if a 700r4 is perfectly quiet. It hits into gear sometimes like it has a shift kit and sometimes it is a little noisy (1st gear). I will be doing the propeller and half shaft ujoints as a precaution, cheap enough insurance vs dropping it at speed or sitting in a parking lot somewhere. I have become somewhat guilty of a parts canon, usually when it comes to relays and such. One tow home pays for a lot of parts. I knew the ujoints were possibilities, but I had rear differential on my brain and wanted to hear different opinions.

Thanks all for the help

Default Fixed - it was the ujoints.

Thanks everyone for the guidance,

Vader86, s carter, Jud Chapin, incorvettei,

87 coupe (hatchback) 82k. The ujoints did fix the problem. I think they were original, one side of the body had "SPICER" and "94 63" but the 9 and the 3 were odd looking. On the backside appeared to be "F1". When I looked closely at them I was surprised they had little to no damage except some signs of heat and one small area of pitting. They were all very smooth with no feeling of roughness. The odd thing was they were all completely limp, wobbly with no friction at all but I could not find any play. All of the caps that were held on by clips fell off when removed and the 2 rear yoke strap caps fell to the ground when pulled from the diff yoke. @s carter, all 4 wheel bearings needed replacing, thanks. Admittedly, the driveshaft had been out before as the pinch weld had been moved.
Replacements, (thanks Vader86)
4 Dana spicer Non-grease heavy duty 53615X for aluminum half shafts
2 Dana spicer Non-grease heavy duty 53613X for aluminum driveshaft
