Default AC / heater blower relay question

In my 84 Corvette all the blower speeds work fine. When turned on high the fuse burns out. I am curious if the relay could have some corrosion inside and is pulling to many amps then blows the fuse or maybe the blower motor could be going bad. Any suggestions? Thanks 😊

Last night I was looking into a blinker issue and noticed the 25A fuse was melted and not blown. Yikes! It is definitely drawing to many amps. I pulled the fuse and will leave it out. There is a little corrosion on the lower speed resistor but from what I know it has nothing to do with the high speed relay. Very curious.

Last week I actually removed the blower motor on my 84 to check the coils and feel the motor spin for freeness. Vacuumed a little amount of sand pebbles and pulled out some grass stems. Made sure the blower spun well and reassembled it all. Lil bit of work for peace of mind.

Anyways, have you removed your blower motor and made sure it spins free? There's a reason it's blowing the fuse somewhere
