Default 1984 Crossfire Electrical Head Scratcher

Alright well as the title states I'm scratching my head. 2 Issues;
1.When I turn my lights on (the running lights, whether running lights or headlights) my left turn signal illuminates on the dash, it doesn't flash unless I turn on the left flasher, thoughts?
2. Sometimes when I go to start the car, I always listen for the fuel pump. If I don't hear it well obviously the car won't start unless, I pull the fuses for both the injectors, then I jump in turn the key and I hear it prime and then continue on with my drive, thoughts?
3. My signals don't turn off when I finish making a turn. At times the work flawlessly and others I have to turn it off. Not a huge concern just curious

Hate to say it, but have you checked the bulbs? All of them? Basically every bulb but the headlight and fog lights. The side markers will have you hating the engineer who crammed those locking sockets in there. A bad ground on one can cause issues. I had to change out the sockets on both my front running lights, (by the fogs) because the sockets ground prongs had gone bad.

1) As you see in this schematics, The "LEFT FRONT MARKER" is connected between the light blue flasher circuit and the brown "MAIN FROM LIGHT SWITCH".
With light switch off the brown is "ground" because of all other lights connected, both front and rear.
Side marker with flash with the front turn light.
With light switch on the side marker will ground thru the more powerful front turning light. A bad ground, or wrong bulb, will give enough voltage to make the dash indicator glow.
With tights on the front and sife turning lights will alternate instead of flashing in sync.

2) There is no connection between injector fuses and fuel pump. Why do you pull those fuses?

3) mechanical issue in the steering column.

No idea why it works pulling those fuses but seems to do the trick

Since you say then continue with my drive I have to ask has the `no prime` issue occurred the first time you start it that day? Maybe pulling the injector fuses is like clear flood mode. Try pressing the gas pedal to the floor when you cant continue your drive instead of pulling the fuses. Hold it all the way to the floor while you start it. Just a theory that could explain the injector fuses affecting anything. If it happens after you drive it maybe its flooded?
