error code 33 and 36

error code 33 and 36
Received check engine codes 33 and 36
So far I have done the following:
Pulled the MAF and MAF burnoff relays, cleaned the connections and checked the ohms over pin 85 and 86 ( both read around 70 ) so I assume these are ok.
Pulled the MAF and cleaned both MAF connector and cable connector and gave the MAF a good wash with cleaner.
Disconnected battery for a minute or so and started with no Service Engine Soon light ........ FIXED..... NO!
Next day (now engine is cold again) I start her up and she starts to stall out, give it a little gas to keep it alive and the engine has trouble for about 30 seconds but eventually levels out and is running good but the Service Engine soon light is back on... check the codes and its back to 33 and 36
Can anyone tell me how to test the MAF, before i waste money on a new one or give me direction on what to check next
