I finished installing a new rear gear and upon installing the driveshaft I now have a squeak from the transmission tail housing that is proportional to the vehicles speed. I have taken the driveshaft out cleaned and greased the u joints, lubed the driveshaft seal and splines and reinstalled the driveshaft without fixing the problem. I have jacked up the rear tires and hand rotated the tires forward and the squeak occurs, rotate the tires backwards and there is no squeak. I have googled this issue and found that a lot of people have the same issue with this transmission but nobody seems to say what causes it or how to fix it. Anybody else have this problem. There is a YouTube video of a guy demonstrating this squeak on his vehicle but I could not get it to upload, or the link to upload

Is the squeak there right from the start or only when it shifts to 2nd.? Drives normal otherwise?

It is there constantly regardless of gear. Transmission drives and shifts perfectly normal no issues with it, but you hear the squeak, squeak, squeak as the drive, and it it's absolutely coming from the transmission.

OK, then the first thing that comes to mind is you have a dry bushing or thrust washer/bearing. Start by removing the tailstock and inspecting the bushing for wear and/or gauling.

That's a good thought and at first glance, one would say less but that is a start. You don't want to drive it that way so the tailstock bushing is the first place to check. The roller clutch squeaks by default when it is freewheeling. That was my first thought and why I asked you about the gear. Roller clutch is locked in first.
