Um, I may be delirious here because it IS 5 am, but the T/O bearing and output shaft are on opposite ends of the transmission. If you're referring to the INPUT shaft and T/O bearing, yes they were a fairly tight fit.
P.S. - please excuse me if that first sentence sounds condescending or sarcastic...I'm tired, delirious, and have no idea why I'm up right now.
