Default LT1 Crank Hubs

What are y'all's thoughts on keyed stock vs. pioneer vs. ATI? Pretty big difference in price between the different options. Is there another option that I'm not away of?

GM original LT1 hub is not keyed.
Never pulled an LT4 hub
Tighter fit on the crank nose.
Literally press on any position.

Jegs, sells a nice spun steel hub. Keyed Hub.
Need to purchase a keyway. Add to crank nose.
Tolerance is honed easier to press on. Flawless fitment.

ATI hub billet. Not needed stock applications.
ATI does not. hone the hub. Extremely tight fit.
Damage will occure if not honed.
especially OE cranks.

I converted to a torque head system purchased an ATI balancer. Needed ATI hub.

Thanks! I just ordered my Torqhead 24x last night and chose the stock hub option. When I had asked them, they told me the "stock" hub option from them was keyed. Think this will be ok for my current bolt on application and possible low boost supercharger in the future?

Congratulations, with the TH kit.
Paul, hones or spins a lead- in. on his ATI hubs.
Flawless crank fitment.

Did you order. The stock balancer hub.
Or ATI balancer hub.?

I would retire the OE balancer.
recommend the ATI balancer/ hub combo.
Especially boosted.

The set-up will. Easily support your build.

I ordered the "stock" style hub with my kit. Based on their pictures on the website, it looks like the jegs style hub in your pictures. Mostly to save a few hundred extra $ because this wasn't a planned upgrade. My car started dieing recently and throwing a code 16 and I wanted to change to the most reliable setup I could find.

Now you've got my questioning if I should figure out how to afford the ATI upgrade.......
