The wiper motor is grounded by a wire to the conector on the cover. If you run a ground wire to the wiper motor, high and low will run without the cover.
If anyone is good with CAD and can make a file for the cover they could be 3d printed pretty easily. I would be willing to print them for whoever needed one but I'm not good enough with CAD or Fusion360 to make the .stl file for it.
I am in fat city, both have the 2 pin connector. I got my part off an 84', plentiful. Wish there were more 85's, only came across one so far, some 86's and 90s'.
You mean this one. LOL not my first rodeo. The real bummer was someone broke off one of the motor bolts on my car. I managed to use a mirco torch with visegrip and get it out.
As far as CAD, I know it well and was thinking about making those covers too but you really need to have a 3d scanner to get it right. I dont want to just draw a part, it needs to be exact.
I cant believe dormans does not make one, must be vette specific.
The biggest problem are the transistor numbers. They are GM numbers stamped on motorola parts and there are no cross references for them. One of the Corvette parts dealers occaisionally orders a batch so someone knows the numbers, It's that I / we don't.
