Cold/Hot air
Hi guys, Happy new year to all,
i have a little problem with the air on my 90 zr1 c4.
It's since last summer that the cold air is not working...if i push the auto button on the consolle the a/c relay work (you can listen the "click") but the compressor dont work.
In winter (in these days) when the engine is hot you have hot air...after few time cold air....if i want more hot air i must raise the temp on the climate control...i think that is not normal working...
Is there something that i can check?

So are you saying that your compressor is not working at all? Does the clutch on the compressor engage? If not check to verify that it's receiving voltage, and the ground is good. From there check your freon levels because the compressor will not function with high, or low, freon levels.

the clutch on the compressor don't engage...i'll try to test the voltage at the comp connection....to verify the freon pressure i must find who has the r12 freon...now here in italy its very rare...what do you think for the problem of air that is hot after cold in cabin? Could be a dirty sensor? Where is located? I can test it?
