I'm looking at a 92 and it has an odd hickup. Driving along it just shuts down for 1 or 2 seconds, empty wallet light pops on then it restarts and the light goes out. It is a manual car. Current owner says the codes stored are random not the same everytime. The car only had 60k and is in great shape. Only thing is the tires are 06 date code so those have to be replaced ASAP. Thanks in advance.
Get the owner to give you the codes or better yet pull them yourself. there may be "random" codes but that doesn't mean they wound give a starting point to track down the stalling issue.

I have owned Fieros for years, I know about the jumper to get codes. I'm just trying get an idea what it could be before I make an offer. It is going to be different if it is a coil/icm vs Optispark. I already have to get new tires cause they have an 06 date code on them
