I had a tire go bad on my last night, and I am going to replace it with two new tires on the front.
I have always had Goodyears, and have had good luck with them and think I want to stay with the Goodyear name. I have been looking on Tirerack, and found a Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3, and Eagle F1 GS. I was wondering if anyone had these tires and could give me a review on them.
I have the GSC's now and like these tires, and am thinking it is time to move on to some of Goodyears newer tires.
Goodyear's don't seem to be real popular on this forum for some reason. I can't really say why though.
Kumho's seem really popular here because they are a great tire, at a super price. And even better, they look REALLY cool! Serious V in the center.
I have Sumatomo's on mine and they look super as well but they're ROCKS! Before swicthing to 17" wheels my 255/16's Comp-TA's would grip circles around these 315/17 Sumo's. And rode better too.
I bought the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS tires for mine about 2 years ago and I love them. They needed very little weight to balance and run smooth. They are a lot quieter then the old Goodyear GS-C tires I took off. When it needs tires again I would buy F1s to put back on.
