Default IAC removal
How do you remove the iac without destroying it, its plastic, about 1 1/4 and a socket wont fit over it because it hits the housing.

I removed mine using a Channel lock pliers with the jaws taped to prevent marring the part.

Just noticed that your TB is out of the car. Why not an open end wrench or adjustable wrench with the TB clamped in a vise?

Reinstall on plenum and use a iac socket
