I need a good pic or p/n of some brackets and the parts book isnt really helping due to the various years and my situation. Iam thinking that 86 has a bracket from the back of the air pump to the bosses on the intake and another one for the alt to the exhaust. Problem could be my accessories and brackets are 85 and the intake is 86. Any thoughts
Hard for me to tell and I don't remember when I replace the alt on my Z51. They look "attached" to me. Here are a couple of pics so you can decide.

Joe, Thanks for the pics, 2 things, is there an upper bracket that goes to the ait pump to intake manifold and it looks like in one of your last pictures there is a brace that foes from the lower power steering pump to the motor mount. Some c4 guys sware its there but I got under the car and I dont see a place for it. There are a bunch of them for sale on ebay.,
Here are the best pictures I could get. I don't see anything attached to the intake or the motor mount.
This one and the one below it are of the air pump.
Though I haven't looked under the car that well I cannot see anything like what I saw on ebay. I'd say that there isn't one on an 85. Here is the FSM exploded view of the assembly.
There are alot being sold as that but I am with you, dont think the 85 has one. What is interesting about that last picture is that it does not show
that stud/nut for the air pump that we talked about. I bet back in the 80's the dealers had microfiche parts cards, not the books that we have.
Not only would the books not hold up for daily use but they probably were more comprehensive.
