845 cam question
Has any one used the 845 (12370845 - Hydraulic Roller Cam - 214/224 duration - 488/509" lift) I am realy thinking of going with this instead of the LT4 hot cam it has milder duration and I think it will work better with my stock converter also I was going to use the LT4 springs. I am looking to get the LT1 in my car pretty soon and need to order a cam sa I can get my ECM done so any input would be great

A friend of mine is using that cam in a 93 LT1 Camaro 355CID with 4.10 rear gears. Cam peaks at 6250 RPM & with shorty headers and a open exhaust (dump tubes) has run the qtr mile at 11.94 at 112mph. Hope this gives an idea about the cams capabilities.
