Torque Converter Selection
Hello Gents. Some might recall an issue with my tranny. The bottom line, it needs to be replaced. So I'm going to get performabuilt stage one sent. The issue is, the torque converter, it won't handle 450 hp. At least I am guessing. So basically, I would like some guidance on selecting a solid TC. From my understanding, a lock-up is suggested, to help with heat, but I am not expert. I would like to go with 2400 stall, but would that be too much for a daily driver? Any 2 cents will help. Thank you
