Hi Forum gang, I need some help.
I have restored my 84 100%, additionally I have built a 383 stroker with all the goodies. New throttle bodies, new ecm from EFI, new renegade intake, new injectors and all the sending units The other day took her out for a spin every thing was running great, so I thought I would go WOT for the first time with all the new stuff.Well she screamed and performed unbelievable. But when the excitement was over she idled up around 1500 rpm and cant get her back down. I check for vacuum leaks but cant find anything. The IAC are wide open flowing a lot of air. the IAC are new as well, checked the TPS, checked all sensor outputs. all seemed good. I have owned this car from new to now and thought I knew everything there was to know. But I am stumped.. any thoughts from forum members?

Standard Motor Products TX4. It comes with the connector. To verify if yours is bad you can scan it (look for a cold reading when the engine is warm) or try the wiggle test. If it idles down if you wiggle the connector.
