Now why for Hack Job, the air tube's have a habit of rotting/cracking or it was a Feeble attempt to get more air in but that's a Epic Fail that dinky K&N has less area to pass air and given the fact it's more inside the hood Hotter Air

Yep, that looks like the infamous Bubbafied-Purple Headed Warrior-Trouser Snake Edition-Hot Air Intake System!!!! I can't unsee it, for the sake of all things Corvette, Please take that off....bag it 3 times before throwing it away....so Bubba's cousin at the landfill doesn't see it and take it home!!!! Tom is right, it's costing you horsepower, and even if it wasn't, it is so Fugly and just plain Gross on so many levelsI'm so glad you said Bubba installed that abomination and not yourself...thankfully you came here for guidance before you showed too many people "what she's got under the hood"👍
I've had my 1991 C4 for two (2) glorious months now and have enjoyed every day.
Re the lack of an airbox (see photo), why would such a setup be rigged? Seems rather jerry-rigged.
I understand true performance upgrades, but this setup is not one of them, is it?
Thanks! Notice the lack of an airbox
Wow, looking at where the hose clamp is that “supposedly” holds this apparatus to the throttle body I’d be willing t bet it’s not fastened to anything. Would not be surprised to find a large gap on the bottom side of that orange hose. On the good side, you recognize what a cluster this is.
