Acceleration Problems with new MAF
Hello guys, I am having problems with acceleration with a new MAF. I was getting jerking and hesitations from the car so I decided to buy a new old original Bosch 280 213 009 and the car does not jerk anymore but when I floor it the engine seems to rev up but it definitely is not accelerating to its full capacity as it was with the old MAF. It will still accelerate but seems to have lost a very noticeable amount of power. Does anyone know if I was suppose to do something different than disconnect the battery when replacing the MAF? Does this only happen temporarily before the ECM can figure itself out again? It idles fine but it’s only acceleration that’s the problem, would this have anything to do with the relays? Thanks.
