Yes, but have you confirmed that TDC and the rotor position are verified for #1 TDC, firing? You haven't stated that clearly which is why people continue to bring it up.

Easy. Get an extra....any extra spark plug to use as a testing tool, or use a spark tester, or some spark testing device. Connect that device to a plug wire, then use that wire's plug (still threaded into the head) as your ground. Now, if the spark jumps in your testing device, then it has to have also jumped inside the cylinder, under compression....in order to make it to ground. Spark verified. If it doesn't jump to ground inside the cylinder? Then it also won't jump the gap in your testing device either....so you'll know.

Thanks Tom400 for the spark plug idea - I would’ve never thought of that! I “daisy chained” an extra spark plug to one in the head and…. There is spark, so I guess it is not weak spark like I suspected.

IHBD - thanks for your input, I believe there are injector pulses for two reasons: 1. I noticed light (very fast pulses) when I attached to an injector plug while cranking, and 2. fuel pressure drops (ever so slightly) while cranking.

My hearing is really bad so I will have a friend listen for fuel pump at crank after prime

***** 4/14/23 UPDATE *****

I cleaned up all the leads on the + terminal junction, i cleaned the cable ends to the battery and installed a new battery. It does pop and fart with carb cleaner! I sprayed a large quantity down the intake and it ran for 2-3 seconds!!!!!!

There is fresh fuel at the rail, but the injectors are not opening????? These are new injectors (last week) My helper said she heard the fuel pump prime and then heard it a second time while cranking.

I checked the injector fuses on the passenger end of the dash and they are good.

Have you checked the starter relay isn't bypassed for VATS? If it isn't I'd check injector wiring harness and grounds.

I think before doing much more, I'd shoot it w/ether and see if it fires on that.

Yours may not be hot but it will give insight into his diagnosis.
