Brakes question
I removed the brake hose, caliper and rotor from the damaged side of my Vette, now I need to move it on to a trailer, if I can get get it to start and move (leave that for another post). Do I have to bleed the brakes now before I put everything back together? The rotors have about 2-3 years of rust on them, as did the pads. Everything else was just dirty. The hose leaked a little fluid when I disconnected it. Basically if I can't get a rollback, then i've gotta get a trailer and take it to my house, and i'm afraid I may not be able to stop while loading and unloading onto the trailer.
