Default BAER TRACKERS

Has anyone come across this product?

I did ordered and installed it, but I am not sure how this works.
These Tie rods has some spacers with different sizes at the bottom. But I am not sure how this spacers affect the bump Steer. I am not if I should use the bigger sizes first or the small ones.

Also Do I need do realign the car each time I move the spacer from bottom to the top and/or vise_versa.
I did intalled with the biggest one on the top, trying to keep it as close as posible as the original one but when I took the car for a test drive the stering was incredible bad.

Anyone with experiese with such or part?

I really need help with this one.

Thanks Fabio

you need to take a much more scientific approach. first, you need a way to measure the toe change. (circle track plates and measuring tape setup is sufficient.) then, raise/lower the car in 1" increments and plot the toe change with travel.

you'll also need some method to reduce tire/road friction, or bushings can squish and change/hide the true toe change.

and yes, every time you swap spacers around, you're changing the static toe a tiny bit.

there are plenty of good books on this subject, btw...

Finaly I understand the part.

Basically is very simple. The part comes with several spacer and each are a bit bigger that the other.

The bigger the spacer the bigger the angle (degrees on the suspension) Which means the bigger the travel of the Toe, when it hits the bumps.

The anwser is simple, By decreasing the angle the toe will not travel out, When the car goes up and down,,,therefore no bump steer.

I did alot of testing and that's how it works on my C4 94. I don't know how it will work on other cars.

What bothers me is that not even the people from Baer knew this. If they would of told me this It would save me two days or hard testing. (idiots)

The Vettes fells awesome on the road now! It's time for some fast cornering!!!

I hope this helps if anyone desides to buy the stupit system. (It does works for sure)

Also The intruction that come with the Tie rods suggest to use the middle spacer first,, and adjust it as need it. Dont bother! Don't use any! Thats the anwser.
