IMO 24lbs or 26lbs injectors for 430 RWHP is not enough (Heck thats about 500HP at the engine).
You will be at 100% and higher duty cycles. I wouldn't risk it to save a few dollars.
I would get a set of 30lbs injectors as they should still run at a high duty cycle, but that is actually good as long as they are not running too high.
Heck, a buddie of mine is REALLY maxing out his 22lbs injectors with 430+- HP at the engine (crank). They are totally stuck open when he guns it.
You can get a brand new set of 30lbs FMS injectors for $250.00... that's cheapo even.
I HAVE to add this though.. 150HP Dry shot on a 'stock' engine is like a countown timer before she blows.. And I mean a very SHORT dial timer..
Be carefull...
lmfao...i am running bosch 24# injectors and i bought them from AZ speed and marine...and running 10 psi of boost and 150shot of juice i was still running rich and on my fuel meter it was only at 49psi of fuel? But i am running a FMU also so understand that aswell my FMU does alot of work and so i am in the same boat kind of...i am thinking i will make some good hp but with my new rebuild i am really thinking i dont want to tear down my FI for injectors just a pain in the butt!
Yeah up here at mile high even imports are fast they turn there boost up to create atmosphere and they actually hang with some vettes and vipers... alot of supra's and 300Zx are running 11's up here and that is fast!
