I purchased a replacement roof for my '84 project from Melrose and it's beautiful. I called them with the following question but it's late on a Friday so I probably won't hear back until Monday, so here's the question:
I have replaced all of the weatherstrip on the car. With the rear bolted lightly and the front resting on the weatherstrip, there is a significant amount of travel until the roof frame meets the front mounting bracket. I'm nervous that there will be a lot of pressure on the roof panel at the front of bolted down completely. Should I be?
