Have a 88 C4 manual with a ...replaced clutch 1900 miles ago ...when changing gears some times I have a grind
or hard time getting to the next gear ....other times it is very smooth.... .clutch pedal does seem weak when I
have the problem but fine when I don't ...........thanks for any thoughts

Change them both and the hose if it's original. The Luk master/slave is cheap on Amazon (LMC117/LSC113), the hose is only availble from Corvette houses and not cheap. Is it worse when it gets got? The old rubber hose deteriorates from the inside out. See if your fluid is black. When the contaminted fluid heats up, it expands causing partial clutch engagement making it hard to shift.

I think it does get worse when hot...This sounds like my problem, will check fluids and if Master and slave were
changed when clutch went in (also hose) . Thanks for such a quick reply, really appreciate you taking the time.
