Need help finding interior vacuum hoses. I bought a use 85 corvette and while replacing the heater core, I found a random hose that was chewed through. Upon further inspection, I found that it was the vacuum hose for the ac/heater switch. However, I cannot find the hoses anywhere. Suggestions?
On the digital HVAC cars there's a unit above and to the right of the gas pedal that gets the vacuum line from the firewall and then distributes separate lines to the rest of the system. Maybe the manual controls are in the same spot?
You can buy various diameters of colored tubing BUT it's generally not sold in lengths that are economical. First thing the OP needs to do is get a correct FSM for the '85 and then proceed. A correct find of the harness from any of the vendors is unlikely. There's ways to approach the repair but ...... Maybe someone parting a car?
How complete would this GM harness be from an eBay buy?
