I just installed a rebuilt differential from zip products 3.54 and I am going through the break in period. I have noticed that when going faster than 70 mph and I accellerate the rear feels like it wants to thrust slightly to the right side and when I leave off the accellerator it sorta shifts back to the left. While maintaining a constant speed the car will drive dead straight with my hands off the wheel. I also noticed that if I put the car into neutral while going about 35 mph or greater and put it back into drive without giving it gas it will feel like it's pulling as well. I got under the car and inspected everything and it looked good. I pushed pulled on the wheels and no play what so ever. I never had this problem before I put in the new differential so I don't think that it is a bearing problem. I am stumped!! I hope that zip corvette set my differential up ok. Actually I am hoping that this is just part of the "break in" and it will resolve itself. Please if anyone has experienced this let me know.

1) Jack the car up and double check the torque on everything (torque arm)etc..
2) If the new unit came with new bushings installed you might want to take it in for an alignment. Things could be way different now.
3)Gears can be a little more clumsy feeling. Most of us don't mention it because you learn to ignore the sounds they make really quick. :yesnod:

KM, I tried what you said I re-torqued everything. What do you mean by "more clumsy feeling" because maybe that is what I am experiencing and Im just being too **** about it. The car is undoubtably driveable and it is something that I could overlook and live to learn with. If I heard others say that they experience the same thing then I would definitely be satisfied with living with it; however, no one has replied and said that they feel the same thing in there car. I will try an alignment and see what happens.
