Another ECM question

Hello. Sorry for all the questions. Im
having a hard time locating an ECM for my 89. Probably because I don’t understand what the various numbers mean. What do the numbers on this ECM tell me. I have the 89 FSM. Would this information be located in there somewhere?

Service no. would be the ECM number and the BCC would be the 4 letter code (earlier models may only have 3).

ASWY is for a inline 4 2.5L w manual 5 speed.

I'm not sure if you can just swap out your original memcal into this^^^one and if it would work...
