Default Intermediate performance issues

For reference my car is a 1984 4+3, all known vacuum leaks have been fixed. I have good fuel pressure. Map sensor is good, and other sensors like Coolant temp all work aswell. So during warm up my car idles at 1200rpm until operating temperature which is pretty normal. Then idles at around 700-800rpm. When driving the car acts normal but eventually their is a noticeable drop in MPG and when coming to a stop or idle in general it almost dies out hovers at around 400rpm, then slowly comes back 800rpm. And while at speed for a while it throws a engine light. But it doesn't always run poor I can drive it for 30min and it'll run like it just came off the line and then it just takes a crap and starts doing it again. The only thing I could think of that would throw a code at speed and run poorly would be the o2 sensor.
Any ideas?

I did replace my o2 sensor which helped ALOT, I have factory mpgs now and runs alot better. But it does still hesitate at stops every now and then although not as bad as before. Also still throws a engine code. Definitely with check the FPR though now that you mention it
