the idle problem i am having does not seem common on c4s becouse i have tried everything 2or three times that have been suggested so far except the ecm which i will try next .i will inform everyone on the outcome.

You know it's funny I responded to your post and then my car started idle at 900 to 1100 rpm. It also stumbled a few times upon light acceleration. With out diconnecting the battery or clearing the codes I continued to drive the vehicle for a few days to see if it would set a code, and it did code 22 and 64. The car felt as if the throtte was stuck slightly open and some times it would idle at 650 and other times around 1000 rpm in drive. Throttle body and cable checked out and code 22 and 64 had to do with the throttle position sensor so I replaced it and my car is fixed and never run better.

i think i finally fixed my idle problem.i replaced my ecm and the idle went down.now when i try to do the minimum idle adjs. instead of the idle not changing it drops and now i can hear the iac opening and closing.i do not know if this next symptom is normal or not becouse it has been a very long time since my idle hase come down but now it idles about 900 and a few minutes later it will come down to 600. iam thinking that it should come down sooner even when warm and i start the engine idle climes to 1000 then stays ther for a short time.
