I’m 1st and second gear when I press throttle, feels like it’s got a lag of power distribution… seems like it’s a delay in transfer of power from motor to trans or trans to rear diff but not positive. Slight shutter and then if I give it more gas it’ll accelerate, but driver can definitely feel the car about to stall out… once i slow down under 10mph and start creeping in traffic is typically when it stalls, only happened 3 times in my 2 months of ownership but I’m just a little confused. Sometimes ur runs great and the throttle response is perfect and then there’s times where it feels like it’s lagging and then when I creep up in traffic it stalls and check gauges light comes on. I put in park and cranked it and it was a weak startup but it eventually turned over and drove after a few seconds of cranking. I’m curious if this could be the IAC valve, I’m very new to corvettes but I’m a little confused why throttle feels good sometimes and sometimes like it’s going to stall out. Previous owner had entire ignition system replaced and I’ve been running 93 octane… not sure if the detonation delay could cause this. Let me know if you’ve ran into this issue!

if anyone can tell me how to test fuel pressure at fuel pump and how to test the idle air control valve for proper functionality that would be great…
To check the fuel pressure there is a Schrader valve on the passenger side fuel rail on top of engine. Should be around 41 psi if I remember correctly. If you're planning on keeping the car pick up a field service manual it helps alot. You can find them on rock auto for $30 for the digital version.
Also check for codes. Jump pins A and G on the ALDL connector to pull codes. Pay attentio. To the module the code is under.
The ALDL connector is under the dash o. The driver side . It's a 12 pin connector pin A is bottom left pin, pin G is top right pin. You can use a paper clip to jump them.
With the pins jumped turn the ign to the on position but do not start the engine.
Once you get your codes you can come back here to ask what it is or usually a Google search will help you find a relevant thread

hi, thanks for the advice just did that. Came up in this order C12, 4(module) ———, 9(module) ———, 1.0

no codes. With key turn key turned on, engine off, I’m only getting 7psi from the schrader valve. Previous owner said he had the entire ignition system replaced except the fuel pump. Should I order a new fuel pump and filter and hope it fixes it? Or is there a way to tell if it’s the regulator vs the pump
No codes is good. As far as the pressure, I wouldn't jump on a pump just yet. It could be a number of things such as leaky injectors or bad fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, fuel filter.
The easiest thing to check first would be the fuel pressure regulator. It's a disc shaped part located near the inlet of the fuel rails. A fast check is to disconnect the vacuum line from it and see if there is fuel in the vacuum line.
Also another thing to consider is your fuel level. This is going to be one of those dumb IT questions like is your computer plugged in, but how much fuel does your gauge show when this happens?
Asking cause several people including myself have had the fuel level show incorrectly so rule of thumb is to never go below a quarter tank.

my vehicle has more than 50% of the tank full, probably like 60%. I checked the vacuum line on the regulator. No fuel, dry. The previous owner said the entire ignition system was replaced but not the fuel pump. Pump and filter is only $80 so I ordered them and gonna install and see if the pressure changes. Only time I’ve gone low on fuel was to go up to 93 octane and still had 40+ miles in the tank
