1992 throttle linkage too short?
while testing output voltage on my throttle position sensor I noticed that if I twist the linkage on the throttle body, voltage goes to 4.3 volts. But if the gas pedal is mashed to the floor it only goes to 3.57 volts.
Does this mean the pedal cannot take the engine to wide open throttle?

is the carpet bunched up under the pedal, also what you get from the pedal probably wont match what you get by hand. They need to leave a bit of slack otherwise if you mashed hard you would snap cable or damage the Throttle Body

I did think of that and pulled the matt and mashed down carpet with hand to be sure it was flat. The idea of intentional slack did not occur to me but makes sense
